Charlie grew up in a Christian household, but unlike many of his peers, his coming out story involved very little drama, just a lot of comedy. From the start, Charlie has been involved in both the political and artistic realms of the gay community. For 3 years, he was the volunteer coordinator of the Young Adult Program at the Center Orange County, during which time he took his youth group to Sacramento to lobby for anti-discriminatory bills for GLBTQ youth. He also has written for various GLBTQ newsmagazines, as well as served on the Board of Directors of queer organizations.
Charlie is also involved in the world of acting and stand up comedy. He has appeared in several movies, including Coming Clean, Hallmark's Just Desserts, and the documentary Outlaugh! He is a graduate of the Second City Improv School, where he refined his sharp wit as well as discovered new insecurities to exploit. His stand up comedy has been heard at various Los Angeles venues such as Bonkerz Comedy Club at the Universal CitiWalk, and the Los Angeles Improv, as well as hosting two weekly Stand Up comedy shows. He also appeared at the Outlaugh Comedy Festival, the first ever multiple day GLBTQ comedy festival.
Currently, Charlie is studying Cinema and Documentary filmmaking at San Francisco State University. When asked what word best describes him, he answered "versatile." Asked if he has plans on getting married, he answered, "I was in a monotonous relationship once," and when poked to see if he is currently "available," Charlie responded "for what?"
Composer and Music Director
Born in Dallas, Texas, Manuel was raised in the conservative Christian environment that north Texas churches are known for. In this, he learned music and became a church musician at the early age of 12. He has played at a variety of churches, and thus has knowledge of many different forms of Christian worship. Using this experience, Manuel brings the styles and feeling of church music to the project. He has composed scores for several films, had performed concert works with ensembles around the United States, and is an active member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
In February of 2007, Manuel conducted the San Francisco State University Player's Club's production of Urinetown, drawing from his experience as a pit musician. In May, Manuel premiered his piece "Matt's Hymn" with the San Francisco State University Wind Ensemble, showing his ability to rehearse and conduct a large-scale ensemble. The following fall saw Manuel as musical director for a student production of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, where he taught a cast of non-singers to perform the score to the show.

Michael is a second year student at San Francisco State University as a Cinema Major. Ever since high school, he had his mindset on what field he would want to pursue entering several of his films into local festivals. Now as he embarks through his years as a college student, he gains more experience and knowledge under his belt as he looks to excel in whatever path film will take him in. He has had his fair share working on a number of productions as different roles. He started out with his first big project working as a production assistant on a short film called SKETCHBOOK. A couple projects later, he took the role of both an editor and a line-producer on a film called CHEATED. And now he is currently working on FLIGHT TO SINAI with a bigger role as a co-producer, one in which he is very excited to work on.

Matthew Bridges is living proof that restrictive parenting sometimes backfires, but in a good way. "Ironically, I wasn't allowed to watch movies growing up, and now I make them." Born into a strictly religious environment, Matt was only allowed a steady diet of Disney films. It wasn't until his early teens that he saw his first secular film, Singin' In The Rain, and he has been hooked on musicals ever since.
Matt is both a photographer and filmmaker, as well as the occasional actor. He grew up in acting in a number of musicals ranging from Pippin to Sweet Charity. While at SFSU, his films were a reflection of his upbringing- he is a compassionate filmmaker, drawing on the human and musical side of life. He made several short 16mm musicals while at SFSU, making Flight to Sinai a perfect fit.
Currently, Matt splits his time between Los Angeles, where he works for Our House Productions on a current television show, and San Francisco, working with Baykids.org and the 13th Annual San Francisco Silent Film Festival.
As for his own personal outlook on his post-graduate career goals, Matt laughed, "Well, I tend to think in terms of black and white... that or technicolor."
